Jaguar made the Mark II from 1959 to 1967 as a luxury sports saloon. The Mark II came with a choice of 3 engine sizes, 120bhp 2.4L, 210bhp 3.4L and 220bhp 3.8L.
The 3.8L model of the Mark II developed a reputation as the car of choice for criminals and police alike. The Jaguar could do 0-60 in 8.5 seconds and a top speed of 125 mph while carrying 5 adults. This made it a very capable getaway car
The Mark II also became famous as the car driven by TV detective Inspector Morse.
