The kit features a detailed cargo bay, rear weapons array and the option to build it as either the NX-2000 or NCC-2000 version.
First appearing on screen in the classic Star Trek III: The Search For Spock, the Excelsior also appeared in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, Star Trek V: The Final frontier and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.
