The Hawker Hurricane was the backbone of the RAF during World War II. Often overshadowed by the world famous Spitfire, the Hurricane inflicted 60% of the loses sustained by the Luftwaffe during The Battle of Britain and fought in all the major theatres of the war.
This model is of the Tropical variant of the Hurricane. The Hurricane Mk.1 Tropical features an air filter in a large fairing under the engine cowling. The Tropical was shipped to North Africa, Malta and the Mediterranean.
So why not get some glue and paint and have a go at building a different version of a very successful and famous aircraft.
