The Douglas Dakota or C47 is one of the most recognisable aircraft of World War II. Dakotas served in every theatre of the war, notably in Burma, during the D-Day landings and the airborne assault on Arnhem in 1944.
The Douglas C47 was known as the Dakota in the Royal Air Force and Commonwealth services. It saw widespread use by Allies during the War and by air forces and airlines after the War.
With this model kit you can build a 1/72 scale model of the Mk.IV variant with two marking options. You can build a 1942 British Overseas Airways Corporation Dakota, or a 1955 Dan Air Services Dakota.
So grab some glue and paint and build a model of one of the most famous transport planes in history.
