The Lynx entered service in 1977 and has been adopted by many other nations. Primarily serving in battlefield utility, anti-armour, search and rescue and anti-submarine roles, the Lynx proved to be a highly effective and versatile helicopter.
This amazing helicopter is capable of performing loops and rolls and is also a record breaker. In 1986 a specially modified Lynx broke the Federation Aeronautique Internationale official airspeed record for helicopters. Setting a top speed of 249.09 mph that still stands today.
