The Ford Mustang is a classic American car that started production in 1964. Since it's launch the Mustang has seen many changes and redesigns. In 1967 the Mustang received it's first major redesign, making the car bigger and allowing room for a big-block V8 engine.
In 1968 the extra engine room was used and the 428 Cobra Jet 7.0L V8 engine was given a home. This gave birth to the 1968 Mustang Cobra Jet, and one of the fastest muscle cars of its day.
