The E-type is a stunning piece of design and you don't have to take my word for it. Mr Enzo Ferrari called the E-type "the most beautiful car ever made" and that man had some experience with cars.
The E-type launched in 1961 with industry leading technology and performance. With its 3.8L engine at launch and then from 1965 a 4.2L, the E-type could top 150mph and was capable of 0-60 in 7 seconds.
Along with its amazing performance it had disc brakes, rack and pinion steering and independent front and rear suspension. All this engineering and performance was topped of with some truly beautiful styling.
The Jaguar E-type has become a motoring icon of style and performance, it also makes for a very pretty die-cast model.
