The Canadair Sabre is a record breaking plane. In 1953 the Canadair Sabre was the plane used by Jacqueline Cochran to become the first woman to go supersonic.

This is a 1:100 scale diecast model from the Jet Age Militery Aircraft range made by Atlas Editions.

The Canadair Sabre was a jet fighter built by Canadair under licence from North American Aviation. It was a variant of the North American F-86 Sabre and was produced by Canadair from 1950 to 1958. The Sabre was the fastest plane in the world when it entered service and later in its life Canadair replaced the engine with a more powerful Avro Canada Orenda engine.
